Fatal Helicopter Crash Claims Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe and Five Others

In a tragic incident, a helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, crashed in California, USA, resulting in his death and the loss of about five others.

Reports from TheWill News indicate that the chopper was en route to Las Vegas when it crashed near the border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.

Daily Mail also confirms that six individuals are feared dead following the devastating helicopter crash, marking California’s second fatal accident in less than a week. Authorities stated that the helicopter went down near Nipton on the outskirts of the Mojave Desert late on Friday evening.

The aircraft, identified as a Eurocopter EC 130, was carrying six passengers at the time of the incident. This tragedy occurred shortly after another helicopter, carrying five troops, crashed during a routine training flight in Pine Valley, California.

The helicopter with six individuals on board crashed in San Bernardino County overnight, and officials have been unable to locate any survivors. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received reports of the downed aircraft near Baker shortly after 10 pm on Friday.

In their statement, they indicated, “We are not able to confirm how many people were on board or their names. No survivors have been located.”

The FAA confirmed that the Eurocopter EC 130 crashed near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert Preserve, east of the 15 Freeway near Halloran Springs. According to NBC, the helicopter is registered to Orbic Air, a Burbank-based tour company.
