Federal Government Meets Labor Leaders to Resolve Nationwide Strike

Top-level talks are underway between the Nigerian federal government and the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) to address the ongoing nationwide strike.

The meeting is currently being held at the National Security Adviser’s office, with key participants including Minister of Labour Simon Bako Lalong, Minister of State Hon.

Nkeiruka Onyeajeocha, and NSA Nuhu Ribadu. Labor leaders, headed by TUC President Festus Osifo and NLC Secretary-General Emmanuel Ugboaja, along with other prominent figures in the labor movement, are also actively engaged in the discussions.
