Nigeria Olympic Committee Applauds Tobi Amusan’s Diamond League Victory

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has lauded Nigerian sprint sensation Tobi Amusan for her outstanding victory at the recently concluded Diamond League event over the weekend.

Amusan claimed the top position at the Oregon Diamond League on Sunday night, securing her third consecutive title in the competition, having previously triumphed in 2021 and 2022. She clocked a season’s best time of 12.33 seconds in the 100m women’s hurdles race.

In response, NOC President Habu Ahmed Gumel expressed his admiration for Amusan’s exceptional performance. Gumel, in a congratulatory message conveyed by Tony Nezianya, the NOC’s Public Relations Officer, praised Amusan for her unwavering determination and focus.
