The Federal Government has given its firm commitment to the timely completion of the proposed Lagos-Abuja superhighway, with a target timeframe of four years.
This assurance was delivered by the Minister of Works, David Umahi, during a press conference held on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
Umahi underscored that once the project reaches fruition, the drive from Lagos to Abuja will be reduced to just four hours using this new highway.
Additionally, he emphasized that the road will be constructed entirely with concrete, a choice deemed more cost-effective than asphalt.
