The All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national level has officially launched its National Campaign Council for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Imo State scheduled for November 11th.
During the inauguration ceremony held on Saturday at Ndubuisi Kanu Square in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, expressed the party’s full readiness to back Governor Hope Uzodimma’s re-election bid. According to Ganduje, the APC’s gubernatorial candidate remains the leading contender in the Imo State election.
Furthermore, he emphasized that, if re-elected, Governor Uzodimma’s administration would surpass its achievements from the first term.
This assurance was echoed by Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State, who serves as the Director General of the Imo State National Campaign Council. Ganduje, while introducing the members of the campaign council, asserted that the APC possesses the necessary resources to secure victory in the upcoming governorship election.
The APC chairman also pledged that both the national leadership of the party and the administration led by President Bola Tinubu would provide unwavering support to Governor Uzodimma and the APC in Imo State to ensure their triumph at the polls.
With the formal establishment of the campaign council, the APC is poised to launch an extensive campaign across all 27 local government areas in the state.
