In light of Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu’s return to the country after his medical leave in Germany, The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has praised the Governor, highlighting it as a testament to his remarkable strength and resilience in serving the people of Ondo State.
Tunji-Ojo, speaking through a statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alao Babatunde, expressed admiration for Akeredolu’s ability to overcome adversity and swiftly resume his duties.
He went on to emphasize that Akeredolu’s return symbolizes the unwavering faithfulness of Providence. According to Tunji-Ojo, the news of the governor’s return fulfilled the hopes of the people of Ondo State, who had anxiously awaited his homecoming.
Tunji-Ojo stated, “The return of their beloved governor has brought immense joy and gratitude to the people of Ondo State, who have eagerly awaited his arrival. We are truly delighted to see you back in good health, and your steadfast commitment to the well-being and progress of Ondo State has been an immense source of inspiration to us all.”
He further acknowledged the invaluable leadership and dedication of Governor Akeredolu, expressing hope for the continued development and prosperity of Ondo State under his guidance. Tunji-Ojo concluded by offering prayers for even greater progress in the state as the governor officially resumes his duties.
After a three-month medical leave in Germany, Governor Akeredolu returned to Nigeria last week Thursday and promptly engaged with his cabinet members, legislators, and various political groups in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Friday.
