The Governor of Kebbi State in person of Nasiru Idris has administered the oath of office to 26 commissioners and members of the state executive council.
In a ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Lodge in Birnin Kebbi, the governor emphasized the importance of fulfilling the expectations of the electorate and effectively carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
With a stern message, Governor Idris cautioned the new commissioners that any failure to discharge their duties adequately would result in their removal from office.
Directing the newly appointed officials, the governor instructed them to promptly embark on their roles within their respective ministries, emphasizing the need to make a positive impact on the lives of the state’s residents.
Governor Idris explained that the appointments were made based on the commissioners’ proven track records and contributions to the state’s development. He urged them to engage directly with the people in their local communities, gaining insight into their needs and challenges to facilitate targeted governance.
Governor Idris said, “I implore you to collaborate closely with the government to ensure the prosperity and triumph of this administration.”
