After getting knocked out of the 2023 Women’s World Cup at the round of sixteen. Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, is currently hosting a reception for the members of the Nigerian women’s football team, the Super Falcons, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Unfortunately, the Super Falcons were eliminated from the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup, a tournament jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Their exit came after a penalty shootout defeat to the English team on August 7.
This event follows the First Lady’s recent meeting with the victorious Nigerian women’s basketball team, D’Tigresses, earlier this week. Senator Oluremi Tinubu continues to actively support and uplift Nigerian female sports personalities, expressing her encouragement and inspiration through gatherings like this.
