In response to the persistent lack of rainfall in certain parts of Yobe State, authorities have organized another round of prayer for rain. Led by Dr. Ali Isa Muhammad, the Chairman of the Potiskum Branch of the Council of Ulama JIBWIS Jos, this initiative seeks divine intervention to address the pressing issue.

This time, the prayer session extended its reach to encompass every family, with even animals brought into the fold, all in an effort to implore the Creator’s mercy and avert the looming threat of drought in the communities.

Additionally, the worshippers undertook the task of clearing the Mamman Ali graveyard along Nngere, as a symbolic gesture to call for rainfall.

Signs of hope emerged as rain is currently pouring down in Potiskum Town, a possible indication that the prayers of the people have been heard and answered by a higher power.
