Shettima Gets Updates from BPE and NDPHC in Informative Session

Senator Kashim Shettima, the Vice President, was provided with updates today regarding the activities of two agencies he oversees: the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) and the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

According to a statement from Olusola Abiola, the Director of Information in the Office of the Vice President, the Vice President held a meeting in his office at the Presidential Villa on Friday. During this meeting, he engaged with the top executives and management teams of these agencies. They presented information on their respective mandates, highlighting challenges they face and their contributions to the economy.

The Vice President, while assuring the agencies of his proactive leadership, emphasized the importance of maintaining a focused approach to achieve the transformation goals outlined in the Tinubu administration’s agenda.

Vice President Shettima holds the position of Chairman of the Board for NDPHC and also serves as the Chairman of the National Council on Privatization, which serves as the overseeing authority for the BPE.

Leading the delegation from NDPHC was its Managing Director, Mr. Chiedu Ugbo, while the BPE group was represented by its Director General, Mr. Alex Okoh.
