D’Tigress, the women’s basketball team of Nigeria, has clinched a remarkable victory against Senegal, securing their fourth consecutive championship title at the 2023 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Championship.
Guided by Rena Wakama, the D’Tigress squad outperformed the 11-time African champions with a final score of 84-74. This impressive win not only solidified their dominance but also marked their sixth championship victory. The historic achievement took place at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, on the Saturday of the event.
