Obaseki Honors Afegbua by Naming Road After Nigeria’s First Female Senator

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has honored the memory of the late Senator Franca Afegbua, Nigeria’s first elected Female Senator, by naming the 14km-long Ogiriga-Afokpella-Okugbe Road in Okpella, Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State after her. During a service of songs held in Benin City to pay tribute to the late Senator, Governor Obaseki praised her as an outstanding individual and a valuable representative of the State.
