The Federal Government has urged its ministerial nominees to finalize all required documentation by Sunday in preparation for their screening at the Senate, which is scheduled to commence on Monday, July 31, 2023.
In an official statement, Senator Abdullahi Gumel, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), instructed the nominees to submit the necessary documents to his office located at the National Assembly over the upcoming weekend.
The purpose of this timely completion is to ensure a smooth and trouble-free screening process.
President Bola Tinubu recently forwarded a list of 28 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation. The Senate is now poised to begin the screening process as planned on Monday.
