Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has provided an update on the future of Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
“He’s in discussions regarding a move. With FFP we have to trade, otherwise we would be stuck this summer. I don’t want to lose him. FFP forces it, to a degree. It looks like it will happen. Sometimes these things have to happen for club to grow,” Howe said.
Al Ahli official bid for Allan Saint-Maximin: €25m fee to convince Newcastle, they want more but negotiation is advancing to crucial stages. Newcastle are confident to complete Harvey Barnes deal once they’ll sell Saint-Maximin.
