Carlos Alcaraz, the current top-ranked player in the world, achieved a remarkable victory over the reigning champion, Novak Djokovic, in an exhilarating five-set men’s final at Wimbledon.

This win marked Alcaraz’s first Wimbledon title.

After an intense battle lasting nearly five hours on Centre Court, the Spanish player emerged as the victor with a final score of 1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4. Overwhelmed with joy, Alcaraz tumbled onto the court in celebration before playfully volleying a tennis ball into the crowd.

At the age of 20, Alcaraz now holds the distinction of being the third-youngest Wimbledon champion in the Open Era. This triumph adds another major title to his growing record, following his victory at the US Open last year.
