Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has implemented a subsidy on fertilizer for farmers throughout the state in order to alleviate the difficulties caused by the removal of fuel subsidies by the federal government.
During the inauguration of a fertilizer distribution committee at the Government House in Dutse on Friday, the Governor announced this initiative. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to ensuring the availability of agricultural inputs to the numerous farmers in Jigawa State, mentioning that 200 truckloads of fertilizer had been procured for distribution.
