Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has declared that civil servants in the state will receive a salary boost of N10,000. The governor made this announcement through a statement on his official Twitter account, which he personally signed. The salary increase was granted by the State Executive Council (EXCO) during their meeting on July 13, 2023. This decision reflects the administration’s dedication to improving the well-being of civil servants in Ebonyi State.
Furthermore, Governor Nwifuru shared that EXCO has authorized the recruitment of 1,454 new civil servants across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the State Civil Service. This action is aimed at strengthening the state’s workforce and generating employment opportunities for the people of Ebonyi State.
