President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a relief measure aimed at alleviating the challenges faced by Nigerians due to subsidy removal.
According to a letter read by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas during Thursday’s plenary session, Tinubu stated that 12 million families will receive N8,000 each over a span of six months. This financial support aims to assist impoverished and vulnerable Nigerians in meeting their essential needs amidst rising costs.
Millions of Nigerians will receive monetary support from the federal government, the presidency has announced.
