The Department of State Services, also known as DSS, has brought formal charges against the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele. The DSS announced this through an official statement signed by their spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, which was released to the press on Thursday evening.
According to the statement, the DSS stated that they took this action in response to a directive from the FCT High Court, which had ordered them to either release Governor Emefiele or present him before the court to face charges.
