President Bola Tinubu is presently in a meeting with a group known as “The class of 1999 governors” at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Among the former governors in attendance are James Ibori of Delta state, Donald Duke of Cross River, Niyi Adebayo of Ekiti, Lucky Igbinedion of Edo, Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia, and Sam Egwu of Ebonyi.
Also present are Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu, Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of Jigawa, Adamu Muazu of Bauchi, Obong Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom, Olusegun Osoba of Ogun, Bisi Akande of Osun, Ahmad Yerima of Zamfara, Jolly Nyame of Taraba, Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto, and Joshua Dariye of Plateau.
Currently, the purpose of the meeting remains undisclosed.
