Former Oyo State Governor, Rasidi Ladoja, Takes Governor Makinde and Olubadan of Ibadan to Court

According to reports, Rasidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, has taken legal action against Governor Seyi Makinde, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun, and the Ibadan High Chiefs who were recently elevated to Kings.

This comes after the state House of Assembly made amendments to the Chiefs Law in the state. On Friday, the Olubadan appointed ten High Chiefs in the city as Obas, but Ladoja distanced himself from the promotion, stating his interest solely in the Olubadan crown.

Ladoja filed the lawsuit at the Oyo State High Court.

More details soon.
