Manchester United Secures a £45 million Agreement with Inter to Acquire Andre Onana

In an intriguing development, Manchester United has reached a £45 million agreement with Inter Milan to secure the services of Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana.

Renowned football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, shared the news on Twitter, confirming the deal on Sunday. Romano’s tweet read, “André Onana to Manchester United, here we go! Agreement completed after an official bid was sent for the Italian goalkeeper to join Man Utd on a £45m deal. Onana had an excellent season at Inter — he will be in Manchester in the next few hours to sign a contract until 2028.”

This transfer comes as United’s long-serving goalkeeper, David De Gea, announced his departure from the Old Trafford club on Saturday.

Manager Erik ten Hag has expressed his desire to reunite with his former Ajax goalkeeper, Onana, as he believes in his ability to contribute to playing from the back.
