Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has issued a declaration of a 24-hour curfew in the Mangu Local Government Area following a series of recent attacks resulting in loss of life and property.
In a statement released by Mr Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State, it was announced that the curfew was imposed on the entire Local Government Area in collaboration with the State Security Council, with the primary objective of restoring law and order.
Consequently, all movements within the Local Government Area have been prohibited until further notice, except for authorized security personnel and individuals engaged in essential duties.
