President Tinubu appointed new service chiefs on Monday,19th June,2023.
President Bola Tinubu has designated Christopher Musa, a major general, as the freshly appointed chief of defence staff (CDS).
Taoreed Lagbaja, also a major general, was appointed as the chief of army staff.
In addition, President Tinubu has named Emmanuel Ogalla, a rear admiral, as the chief of naval staff, and Hassan Abubakar, an Air vice marshal, as the chief of air staff. Among other appointments, Emmanuel Undiandeye, a major general, has been selected as the chief of defence intelligence.
