The National Secretary and candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming Imo State governorship election on November 11, 2023, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, has been lauded by the party as a compassionate and resourceful individual who brings immense value to both the party and the nation.
In a statement on Monday, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, expressed these sentiments while celebrating Anyanwu’s birthday.
Ologunagba praised Anyanwu for his outstanding leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the welfare, happiness, and prosperity of the people, acknowledging the enduring legacies he has established.
The statement reads: “Senator Anyanwu is a very humble, honest, compassionate and remarkably resourceful leader; an excellent administrator, forthright politician and courageous statesman who continues to demonstrate an exceptional commitment towards the unity, stability and progress of our great Party and Nigeria,” Ologunagba said.
Ologunagba however, commended Anyanwu’s impressive track record, which includes serving as a two-term Local Government Chairman, a two-term member of the Imo State House of Assembly, and a lawmaker in the National Assembly.
“The PDP notes that Senator Anyanwu’s proven commitment and record of achievements inform the desire of the overwhelming majority of the people of Imo State across the board to elect him as the next governor of the state so that he will bring his wealth of experience, capacity, humility, competence and proficiency to bear on the affairs of the state.
“The PDP family felicitates with Senator Anyanwu on this special day and prays to God to grant him many more years in good health, wisdom and success in the November 11, 2023 election to the glory of His name, in line with the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Imo State,” the statement concluded.
