Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, has expressed his appreciation for the swift response of the Kwara State Government in mitigating the impact of petrol subsidy removal on the population.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor commended the State Government for initiatives such as providing free bus transportation for staff and students commuting to and from Kwara State University, Malete, as well as reducing the workdays for state employees from five to three.
Professor Jimoh characterized these interventions as proactive and focused on the welfare of the people. He further stated that Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has wasted no time in implementing policies and taking actions that directly benefit the citizens, even in the early days of his second term.
