The 14th Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is currently engaged in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja. Notably, Sanusi, who previously served as the Central Bank Governor, arrived at the Villa a few minutes before 05:00 pm, according to reports.
This visit follows closely after the President’s recent suspension of the former Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele.
While the specific agenda of their meeting remains undisclosed, it is significant as it marks the first encounter between the two leaders since Tinubu assumed the presidency on May 29.
