According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are pushing Ansu Fati to leave the club this summer but wants to attach a buy-back clause in his agreement. The Spanish forward has been short of minutes at Barca and Xavi can’t guarantee him massive playing time in the upcoming season.
Despite Fati’s reluctance to stay and push for a spot, the Spanish manager believes that Fati’s sale could attract a large fee amidst Barca’s financial turmoil and the return clause could help the club get their prodigy back if required.
It’s still uncertain whether the swap deal for Ruben Neves earlier proposed by Wolves will be considered and progress. While both players wants to stay in their respective clubs, a move isn’t rule out yet.
