PSG join race for Gundogan

According to French outlet L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan this summer.

The 32-year-old is in the final weeks of his contract at the Etihad Stadium, and will make a decision on his future following Saturday’s Champions League final.

While PSG believe Barcelona are the front-runners in race to sign the German international on a free transfer, they are hoping that the potential appointment of boss Julian Nagelsmann, who held talks with PSG earlier this week, could swing the balance in their favour.

Gundogan has also been on the radar of Arsenal, however City are still keen on extending his contract after his recent heroics in the FA Cup final.
