N’Golo Kante has successfully completed his medical examination in London, signalling his move to Saudi Arabia club Al-ittihad. The France international, whose contract with Chelsea comes to an end this month, has accepted a deal worth €100m (£86m) per season until 2025, with an option for an additional year.
This move comes after Al-Ittihad acquired 75% stakes in four Saudi clubs, including signing Karim Benzema from Real Madrid earlier this week. The club’s new signings are in line with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which holds 80% of Newcastle United.
