According to Mirror, Liverpool have made first contact with Newcastle United regarding a possible move for their in-form midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
With James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Arthur set to leave the club, Liverpool are looking to reinforce their midfield with new signings. They will have to dish out €100m to sign Guimaraes, as per the report.
Newcastle on the other hand is planning to pin down the Brazilian to a long term deal to fend off interests from clubs who want the outstanding midfielder after impressing in his full debut season in England.
