In adherence to the constitutional provision stated in Chapter 6, former President Muhammadu Buhari has successfully submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). The CCB has issued an official acknowledgement receipt for the submission.
According to a tweet by Garba Shehu, the former presidential spokesman, the completed declaration highlights that there has been no increase in the movable assets of the former president, both within Nigeria and overseas.
Additionally, it confirms that there have been no new bank accounts opened, apart from the existing one held in Union Bank, Kaduna. This submission fulfills the requirements of transparency and accountability expected from public officeholders.
