President Tinubu Appoints Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff and George Akume as SGF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced on Friday in Abuja that the outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has been appointed as the Chief of Staff (CoS).

Furthermore, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, has been chosen as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President.

These appointments were disclosed during a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF). Additionally, George Akume, the former Governor of Benue State and immediate-past Minister of Special Duties, has been named as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The statement confirming these appointments was issued by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the Director of Information at the Presidency, on Friday.
