With links to midfielders continuing to pile up, reports have indicated that Liverpool are interested in Nice’s Khephren Thuram.
The 22-year-old versatile midfielder, son of legendary French defender Lilian, has attracted plenty of interest after impressing throughout 2022-23 season, and the Reds are said to be one of the clubs keeping tabs on his situation as Jurgen Klopp‘s side plans for a summer rebuild.
Now, according to a report from L’Équipe, the Reds are pushing to sign the France international, who is valued at €60m by Les Aiglons. Liverpool and the player’s entourage have already met, and the player is reportedly said to be keen about the idea of playing under Klopp’s guidance.
That said, Liverpool will face still competition from other clubs, with Newcastle United one of the clubs keen on signing Thuram this summer.
