Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock has agreed to a contract extension with the club, which will now run until the summer of 2027.
The 30-year-old, who joined Brentford from Barnsley in 2019, had previously signed a five-year deal in 2020. Pinnock has been a stalwart in the team’s defence, making 153 appearances for the club located in west London.
Manager Thomas Frank, however, praised Pinnock’s contributions, highlighting his crucial role in the team’s journey to the top half of the Premier League. Having started his career in the lower leagues with Forest Green Rovers, Pinnock’s rapid rise to the Premier League is seen as an incredible success story.
Frank believes that Pinnock embodies the values of Brentford and expects further development from the defender. With the contract extension, Pinnock is set to spend the best years of his career at Brentford, and the club looks forward to his continued reliability and contribution to the team’s success in the upcoming seasons.
