Paris Saint-Germain are keen on recruiting AS Roma’s Jose Mourinho as the club’s next manager with Roma players fearing the Portuguese will leave the Serie A club at the end of the season, according to reports in The Daily Mail.
PSG are expected to part company with Christophe Galtier in the coming weeks and Mourinho is a leading candidate to replace him. Mourinho has established himself as a cult hero in the capital after leading Roma to the Europa League Final, a year after winning the Europa Conference League.
Despite Mourinho coming under numerous critics for his team pattern of play against Bayern Leverkusen in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final which sees Roma depending on defensive tactics. He’s still the leading favourite among available managers for the PSG Job.
