Chelsea and Australian forward, Samantha Kerr has been named the Women’s Football Writers Award winner for the second season in a row.
Kerr already has 26 goals in all competition for Chelsea this season as the team sought for domestic double. She already reached 100+ appearances for Chelsea since joining the team.
Kerr won the WSL goal of the month in March for her stunner against Manchester United, a feat she would love to achieve again as both teams go head to head in Wembley for the Vitality Women’s FA Cup final.
The large absence of attacking duo, Fran Kirby and Pernille Harder has add to Kerr responsibility of spare heading the Chelsea attack and she has not disappoint with the aid of Guro Reiten and Lauren James at the flank positions.
