The Gunners have moved to within one point of the Premier League leaders after an excellent 2-0 win at St James’ Park.
Arsenal earned a superb 2-0 win at third-placed Newcastle to keep their slim Premier League title hopes alive. An excellent first half strike from the sensational Martin Odegaard gave them a lead before a Fabian Schar own goal after the interval proved decisive in what was an enthralling encounter played at incredible speed.
Newcastle did have their chances, but Aaron Ramsdale was in inspired form form the Gunners, who have closed the gap on leaders Manchester City to just one point.
