Bayern Munich moved four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after beating Werder Bremen, with goals from Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane.
Gnabry scored from close range after a pass from Jamal Musiala, while Sane was set up by Noussair Mazraoui for Bayern’s second goal.
Although Niklas Schmidt scored a late consolation goal for Werder, it was not enough to prevent Bayern from securing Champions League qualification with three games to spare.
On Sunday, Borussia Dortmund will attempt to reduce the gap to one point when they take on Wolfsburg.
