The Senate has postponed its planned date to resume by one week. Previously, on April 5th, they had adjourned plenary until April 25th to celebrate Easter and Sallah.
The Clerk of the Senate, Chinedu Francis Akubueze, released a statement in Abuja stating that the Senate’s plenary resumption has been shifted from Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 to Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023. All Senators are required to be present for the plenary session at 10:00 am on May 2nd, 2023.
