Following the supplementary governorship polls in Kebbi state, Professor Yusuf Saidu, the returning officer, has officially declared Dr Nasir Idris as the victor and governor-elect. Dr Idris secured 409225 votes, defeating his opponent, General Aminu Bande from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, who received 360944 votes.
Meanwhile, all party agents present during the election have signed off on the results without raising any objections, indicating their acceptance of the outcome.
