Real Madrid are ready to make a fresh approach to sign Chelsea star Reece James this summer if the Blues are forced to sell players due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. James only recently signed a new long-term deal that would keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2028.
The 23-year-old is one of the best right backs in the world and it’s unlikely that the Blues would sell him for any less than a world-record fee for James and the interest from Madrid may test his resolve.
