David De Gea’s Manchester United contract is set to end in the summer and the Spanish goalkeeper is yet to sign an extension.
However, before facing Sevilla in the Europa League the shot-stopper has spoken about his future: “It’s time to focus on games. We play many in a row, it’s not time to lose focus and think about contracts. My mind is on being ready and to keep playing games.”
According to The Athletic, De Gea has turned down the first extension offer put on the table by Manchester United but will continue to negotiate in the hope of reaching a positive conclusion.
