According to the Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona is closing in on the renewal of Alejandro Balde with the deal scheduled to be finalized this week.
The young left-back has impressed under Xavi and has displaced Jordi Alba in the starting eleven for the Blaugrana.
The youngster’s current contract runs down in 2024 and with multiple teams eyeing Balde, Barca wants to tie him down to a new contract until 2027.
