Luis Enrique has reportedly asked the Chelsea hierarchy to agree to three conditions for him to become the Blues’ new manager.
The former Spain coach flew to London to hold talks with the Chelsea board over replacing Potter.
However, according to Fichajes, Enrique, who has emerged as one of the favourite candidates to become Chelsea’s new head coach, wants the West London club chiefs to give him three new top-tier signings.
He wants a mobile centre-forward, a midfielder who can lead the midfield alongside Enzo Fernandez and a versatile winger, who would enable him try out different systems.
Enrique also wants Chelsea to give him enough time to instil his footballing philosophy. And lastly, he wants to trim the squad as he does not want a large squad.
