In the early hours of Saturday, Ibrahim Ma’aji, the Special Adviser to Governor Bello Mattawalle on political affairs in Zamfara state, was reportedly abducted from his residence in the Mareri area of Gusau town, the state capital, by bandits. As of now, the bandits have not made any contact with Ma’aji’s family, according to a source close to them.
The source disclosed: “The bandits are yet to call any of the family members to demand for a ransom.
“We have been calling his phone number and it was ringing but nobody answers”.
