The quarterfinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League resumes yesterday and was full of high intensity and tactical battles.

Bayern Munich beat Arsenal 1-0 at home to gain a goal advantage before next week second leg in London. Lea Schüller’s headed goal is the difference.

High-rated Barcelona does not have it easy as they won Roma by a goal in Italy. Salma Paralluelo’s curling strike proved enough for Barcelona as they survived a late Roma onslaught to take a 1-0 lead back to the Camp Nou for the QF second leg.

The drama continues today as title holder Lyon welcome Chelsea to France and Wolfsburg also travel to France to face PSG.
