Chelsea duo, Australian forward, Sam Kerr and England attacker, Lauren James both won FA Women’s Player of the Year and FA Women’s Young Player of the Year award consecutively at the London Football award.
Lauren James is having the season of his life, winning the award a day after a worldie assist for Kerr goal in a 1-0 against Manchester United just a day before the award. He has earlier won the player of the tournament for England in the Arnold Clark’s cup and also WSL goal of the month for February.
Sam Kerr, who scored the only goal that send Chelsea to the top of the WSL table against Manchester United got the award for the second season running, after winning the award last year.
Kerr and James combination is the driving force as Chelsea looks to win various silverware this season, and they are the worst nightmare of any team facing Chelsea.
