People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos gubernatorial candidate Abdul Aziz Adedilan (Jandor) has nearly ruled out an alliance with Labor Party (LP) Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour.
Proponents of the idea that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had exceeded its welcome as the then government of Nigeria, the country’s commercial and entertainment capital, lobbied for an alliance between the two leading opposition parties.
The call got louder after LP’s unprecedented victory in the presidential election, thanks to Peter Obi and running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed.
But in a live interview with Channels Television’s Politics on Monday, Jandor dashed hopes for such a union.
When his “project” began years ago, he says  it was beyond a desire to become governor.
