The Presidential candidate of Labour party, Peter Gregory Obi, has today paid a visit to the lady who was reportedly stabbed in the face by political thugs during the February 25th presidential and national assembly election.
The lady pictured above with Obi goes viral during the election day when video of her casting vote with a wound-bleeding and plastered face, after she has previously being stabbed by political thugs on her way to perform her civil right at Surulere area of Lagos State.
Obi posted on his official Twitter account:
“Today, I visited Mrs Jennifer Efidi. She was attacked on 25th February in an attempt to stop her from voting, but she stood her ground. Jennifer is one of the great icons of Nigeria’s democracy.”
“She is my point of contact with every Nigerian who suffered a similar fate in their bid to exercise their voting rights, and contribute to a new Nigeria. Like many Nigerians, I acknowledge her bravery and resoluteness.”

The visit has received a lot of accolades and applauds from Nigerians and people and organisations abroad.
